וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲרַ֔וְנָה מַדּ֛וּעַ בָּ֥א אֲדֹנִֽי־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶל־עַבְדּ֑וֹ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜ד לִקְנ֧וֹת מֵעִמְּךָ֣ אֶת־הַגֹּ֗רֶן לִבְנ֤וֹת מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וְתֵעָצַ֥ר הַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה מֵעַ֥ל הָעָֽם׃
Lalu Arauna berkata: “Mengapa tuanku raja datang kepada hambanya?” Jawab Daud: “Untuk membeli tempat pengirikan ini darimu, untuk mendirikan mezbah bagi Yang Mahakekal, supaya tulah itu berhenti menimpa rakyat.”

And David said to Arnan: Give me the place of the threshing floor, and I will build in it an altar to the L-rd. Give it to me for its full price, and the plague will cease from the people.
